Compreheisive Immigration Reform for America

Yesterday, Congressman Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) introduced the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America's Security and Prosperity (CIR ASAP) Act of 2009." Congressman Gutierrez has been joined by members of various communities within Congress. This legislation marks a path for the nation to tackle the nation's broken immigration system.

The link below is an overview of this new immigration reform bill that was propsed yesterday in Washington DC. Many of the provisions are still vague but we will update you as the details emerge.
